I have been away from my blog for a long time, and it's time to get back on the proverbial horse and start anew. I have been working really hard at my teaching job and spending a lot of time on raising kids, planning a wedding, and trying to keep some semblence of sanity in my crazy world of CHAOS. I have been feeling quite bogged down by the minutia of life, and it's time to become a little more focused and spend less energy freaking out on the chaos around me and find ways to keep things rolling a little more smoothly in my life.
So, where do I begin...well, I have been a member of flylady.net for a while, and I need to get on board with Fly Lady's baby steps to more organized and sane living (lord knows, I need it). As well, I have been skimming through Tim Ferris's 4-Hour Body. I want to (as always) get in better physical shape. I am hoping that with a little bit of each, I will somehow be able to reign in my life and feel better both mentally and physically.
I want to be realistic in my goals. I am hoping that because both the Fly Lady and Tim Ferris are about small changes for big imapacts, that the transition from mental and physical chaos to a life that is filled with a sense of well-being for me and my family will be one that I am able to achieve.
So here goes...wish me luck!
